My idea of a perfect Saturday involves three key factors: getting something accomplished, trying something new, and relaxing.
Ideally, the day starts early with chocolate chip pancakes and a couple of garage sales. Always searching for beat-up furniture and/or pieces of wood to paint on as well as unusual knick-knacks. Hiking around Cowls Mountain, Mission Trails or La Jolla Cove for my fill of sunshine is next.
Then it's either painting, sewing or naptime (#3 usually). Dessert and dinner in that order.
And lastly (if you know me this is fairly predictable) game night! Balderdash, Taboo, Catchphrase, Spades, Rook and so on...
Reading just before bed. Starfish position and zzz...
