Flowers in her hair

Here are some Etsy finds that I enjoyed and am hoping to duplicate though I doubt the results will be anything like them.

Bronze (I liked the gold ones too) Hair Twigs. :) They are made of polymer clay but she didn't explain how she secured them to the bobby pins. I've had some really bad experiences with superglue. Anyone have a better idea? I could try wrapping string around the whole thing but it would probably unravel the first time I wore them.

Magnolia silk hair pins...deceptively simple?

Orchid hair pins. Even harder.

How do they not unravel!? Are the edges burned?

This is a great use of old lace. Thread ribbons through it for a sweet headband.

Pretty poppies for Sam.

This headband reminds me of elf girl in LOTR.

Seeing these hair pins reminds me of the time we were at Walmart and you "borrowed" a few flowers from a few bunches of flowers. I don't know if you remember that or not.. :)
